Having grown up in West Kirby I was delighted to return as Rector of St Bridget’s after living in Warwickshire for the last 25 years. Prior to my training for ministry I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in early years communication development and with a particular interest in children with additional needs. I have 4 grown up children, a husband Richard, and a dog Pippa. I love singing , all sorts of arts and crafts and being outdoors.
My role as Rector of the parish means a huge amount of variety in my working life. Being involved in St Bridget’s Primary school is one of the highlights and it is a great privilege to be part of such a respected team of governors in an outstanding school.
I am keen to support the spiritual development and wellbeing of the whole school community and offer pastoral support whenever it is needed . I am looking forward to working with the children, parents and staff and to strengthening the relationship between school and church. My Christian faith underpins my desire to help our children flourish and become the people God calls them to be.
